Startup Idea Night Brings Together Over 125 Attendees at 3 Sheeps Brewing

23 jul 2025

Sheboygan County, WI – Sheboygan’s entrepreneurial spirit was on full display at the recent Startup Idea Night, hosted by the Sheboygan County Innovation Council and Third Space Wellness, at 3 Sheeps Brewing. The event drew a crowd of more than 125 attendees, filling the big white tent with energy, creativity, and excitement.

Participants pitched their ideas in a fast-paced, friendly competition format, with the chance to win prizes while receiving valuable feedback from experts and community members. In addition to the pitches, the evening offered opportunities to learn about local startup ventures, connect with like-minded innovators, and enjoy delicious mac n’ cheese from Harvest Food Truck.

“Startup Idea Night was a huge success, the energy in the tent was contagious,” said Ray York, Business Counselor for the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation and Small Business Development Center at UWGB,  “It’s clear that Sheboygan County’s startup community is alive and thriving, and we’re proud to help create a space where anyone with an idea can be heard.”

The strong turnout was fueled by word-of-mouth buzz and community outreach and was one of the largest grassroots entrepreneurial gatherings in Sheboygan this year. Many attendees learned about the event through the SCEDC newsletter, local email campaigns, and the networks of Accelerate Sheboygan County and Third Space Wellness.

Startup Idea Night is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen Sheboygan County’s innovation ecosystem by lowering barriers to entrepreneurship, encouraging collaboration, and creating pathways for local talent to launch and grow their businesses.
